First Feeding Event — Union Station Family Center

Saturday, April 4, 2026

When: Saturday, April 4, 2026

Where: Union Station Homeless Services — Family Center — 825 E Orange Grove Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91104

Meals served: 86 · Volunteers: 8

Our very first event came together on a Saturday afternoon at Union Station Homeless Services’ Family Center in Pasadena. Eight volunteers. Four courses. Eighty-six meals out the door.

Families living in the program don’t have access to a kitchen, so a healthy, home-cooked meal isn’t a given — it’s a rarity. That’s why every meal we serve is made from scratch with real ingredients: no seed oils, no shortcuts, no compromises on quality.

We’ve shared a full recap, photos, and video from the day on the blog.

How this meal compares

3.5× the protein. 23× the vitamin C.

Side-by-side against a typical donation-based meal and a fast food kids meal — every nutrient, sourced and cited.
